How to add attic to bungalow

Attic refers to the relatively high space of the building, and a layer of attic floor has been re-made in the middle. Attic refers to the room under the floor or sloping roof. If the space in the building is more than 4 meters high, it can be made into an attic.

The materials needed to make the attic can be cast-in-place reinforced concrete floor or steel structure (channel steel or I-beam). The construction requirements of cast-in-place reinforced concrete floor are relatively high and the steps are complicated. So now, the attic is generally built with steel structure, and the steps are relatively simple.

The main keel is made of 10# I-beam, and the auxiliary keel is 50 times 50 angle steel. The steel structure frame is made of 12mm expansion screws, on which a 20mm core board is laid as the base, fixed with drilling screws, and then the top floor is decorated, which can be solid wood board or wood floor.

The following pictures have steel structures for reference.

Supplement:

The bungalow is covered with an attic. On the basis of the original constructional column, 14# I-beam is adopted. The rear steel plate is 8mm thick. Steel plate and I-beam are fully welded, and the weld seam is 6 mm Then, four tension bolts are punched on the steel plate, and then the frame part is connected with 50×50 angle steel, and fully welded. Then, the roof can be covered with colored steel plates and thermal insulation cotton, and the sides can be galvanized.
