The core scenic spot project of Canal Ancient Town in Sui and Tang Dynasties is the beginning of a new stage after the completion of the "Five Phoenix and Three Pavilion" cultural exhibition center project. It mainly includes six functional areas: romantic leisure area, visiting experience area, core performing area, folk inn area, passenger service area and fantasy entertainment exhibition hall.

Main attraction

Wufeng sange scenic spot

Wufengmen building complex takes the main building "Wufengmen" as the center, and connects the East and West Ear Hall and the East and West Stone Que with cloisters. On the fifth floor, the cornices become warped, like a phoenix dance for nine days, hence the name Wufengmen. "Wufengmen": Originally the hall of Xiangwang Hall in Zhenguan period of Tang Dynasty, it used double eaves to replace the hall, and the main ridge and four ridges on the top of the hall were as empty as Wu Fengxiang, echoing the name of "Wufengmen".

Sanfo Pavilion complex

It is the remains of Xiangwang Temple in Zhenguan period of Tang Dynasty. The three pavilions are dedicated to the past, present and future buddhas respectively, and are connected by a pavilion flying across the middle. The shape absorbs the image of the third brother in Amitabha's classic paintings in Dunhuang murals in the Tang Dynasty, with heavy eaves and columns, which is magnificent. You can enjoy the whole ancient town near the pavilion, and you can also see the beautiful scenery of Xiangshan, the new look of coal city and the vast lake, which will make you feel comfortable.

Water mirror stage

The building is located in the center of the open water surface at the intersection of the Sui and Tang Canal and Xianghe River. It is beautifully shaped and towering into the sky, forming a reflection in the water, taking water as a mirror and enjoying its reputation. The water mirror stage is a double-sided stage in the north and south, which is the main stage for gathering activities and folk opera performances in ancient towns. It faces the water surface and the south bank of the canal in the south, and the temple fair square in front of the original Xiangwang Temple in the north. The name of the water mirror stage is taken from Hanshu? Biography of Han Anguo: "Clear water is a mirror, you can't escape", which means that good and evil are obvious to all, and it embodies the educational function of China traditional opera in promoting good and punishing evil.

Caocang weir gate

It consists of three scenic spots: tugboat weir, Doumen lock and grass barn beside brick. It is a scenic spot that embodies the culture and technology of water conservancy and water transport in the Sui and Tang Dynasties Canal, and it is also the actual water level adjustment of the water system and the navigation facilities for cruise ships. The building generally adopts the architectural style of Tang Dynasty.

Doumen shiplock

China was the first country to build shiplocks. The steep gate on Lingqu, which was built in the thirty-third year of Qin Shihuang (2 14), is a recorded single-door lock, which is more than 500 years earlier than the earliest Dutch lock in the west. On the Grand Canal in Sui and Tang Dynasties, single-door shiplocks were widely used, and they were often used side by side with weirs.

Brick-board straw barn

Symbolic restoration and construction of a grain storage position (main warehouse). Located in the center of the sluice pond, it refers to Dunhuang murals and Japanese birds, and the architectural remains of Cang 'ao in Nara period (equivalent to Sui and Tang Dynasties in China). It adopts a high platform on the pedestal of elevated wood structure, an octagonal building of Tang style and a pointed tile roof.

Tugboat weir ancient tugboat weir crossing technology, the earliest weir dike was recorded in the eighth year of Wu Chiwu in the Three Kingdoms (245 years), which developed greatly in the Tang and Song Dynasties and was widely used on the Sui and Tang Grand Canal. Shifang tea ceremony

As a large teahouse, it shows the tea ceremony culture originated in the Tang Dynasty. China Tea Ceremony originated in the Tang Dynasty, and many tea drinking methods, tea sets, ceremonies and tea plays appeared.

Zhakou no-go scenic spot

Located in the west street of Guzhen, it is not only the sluice to actually control the water level difference between the canal and the inland river, but also the production scene and technology of rice agricultural products processed by hydraulic machinery in Tang Dynasty, and it has become the cultural display and business place of restaurants and bars in West Street. The architectural design takes Wei Xian, a famous painter of the Five Dynasties, as the prototype, and completely restores the famous paintings of the Tang Dynasty for the first time in China. It has high value in the history of science and technology and agriculture, and is highly ornamental and participatory.

Canal Tiandi

On the facade of the ancient town of Li Nan Road, the commanding height is the Canal World in the northwest corner of the base. The appearance of the canal world podium echoes the flow of the canal. The combination of multi-layer retreat makes full use of the canal paradise landscape on the south side of the commercial space, creating a rich and varied facade effect, which is very dynamic. The overall shape is modern and exquisite, which is in obvious contrast with the ancient town landscape, embodies the concept of the integration of old and new, and provides unique urban space experience for citizens and tourists.
