Brief introduction of Indian music
Later, because Islam invaded the north, the differences in musical styles between the north and the south were affected one by one, and Akbar (1542- 1605a.d), a Turkish king who believed in Islam in the north, was a monarch who didn't like music very much. Therefore, during his reign, his court musician Tan Sen initiated the music of North India, and the ragtime of Indian music was also deeply influenced by him. In addition, Indian chamber music, together with the music and drama of Indian temples, has developed well since Akbar the Great ascended the throne. The rich and complicated tradition of Indian music is really the richest treasure of music culture in the world today, and it is also fulfilling the greatness of this nation with a long history. In Indian music, we can often find some features that have been lost in other music cultures, the special power and religious feelings of music, the special ability of improvisation, and the special relationship between music and mathematics and the whole universe. Many modern musicians, whether classical music or pop music, look for examples of inspiration from Indian music, but relatively speaking, the real learning and performance of Indian music is limited to Indians themselves. I think we should start by appreciating Indian music and then understand the practice, which will certainly open up our hearing field and enrich our culture.
