Content of CET-4

CET-4 consists of four parts: composition, listening, reading comprehension and translation.

2. Unlike high school listening, there is no topic. The topic is at the end of the listening recording, testing listening level and vocabulary.

3. Reading comprehension

Including 1 vocabulary understanding, 1 long reading, 2 close reading.

4. Translation

The question type is Chinese-English translation of paragraphs. Translation involves the historical, cultural, economic and social development of China.
