Guangzhou Economic Development Zone issued a special support policy for peak carbon dioxide emission and carbon neutrality, and established a systematic policy support system from seven dimensions, including supporting circular economy, energy saving and carbon reduction, green brand building, energy management, promotion and application of new and renewable energy, supporting key projects, and optimizing the development environment of green industries, so as to comprehensively push enterprises and society towards the goal of peak carbon dioxide emission and carbon neutrality.

Beijing Economic Development Zone has formulated a green development fund support policy to support enterprises' low-carbon development from the aspects of energy-saving and carbon-reducing technological transformation, distributed photovoltaic power generation, shallow ground source, waste heat, reclaimed water (sewage) source and green buildings. In particular, industrial enterprises above designated size that were certified as "carbon neutral" in 20021year or parks that have been included in urban renewal and obtained "carbon neutral" certification will be given a one-time reward of 500,000 yuan.

Nanchang Economic Development Zone has issued a number of policies and measures to promote green development. Speed up energy transformation and upgrading

The Beijing Winter Olympics has achieved the first "carbon neutrality" in Olympic history, and the wind power in Zhangbei has played an important role in it, which is inseparable from the Goldwind Science and Technology Smart Park in Beijing Economic Development Zone. Goldwind Technology has built 33 1.5MW wind turbines in Beijing Guanting Wind Farm (located at the outlet of Langshan Mountain, Huailai County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province), providing green guarantee for 20% power supply of Beijing Olympic venues.

Schneider Electric, also located in Beijing Economic Development Zone, has greatly reduced the greenhouse gas produced by the consumption of sulfur hexafluoride in the electrical industry in the past through the unique SF6-free technology of its medium-voltage switchgear series, and has been widely used in the venues of Beijing Winter Olympics, taking a key step towards low-carbon power grid and green power.

Beijing Economic Development Zone focused on zero-carbon demonstration transformation, and drew a blueprint for carbon reduction in the 14th Five-Year Plan. Five enterprises in Beijing Economic Development Zone, including Goldwind Technology, Schneider, Matsushita Electric, Yizhuang Real Estate and BOE Optoelectronics, have also launched a "carbon neutral" pilot project to drive enterprises, industries and regions to reduce carbon emissions. Zhengzhou Economic Development Zone continuously optimizes the energy structure, makes full use of abundant geothermal resources in Henan Province, actively develops geothermal resources, and promotes clean heating demonstration projects in seven resettlement areas. At present, the geothermal heating area has reached 2.57 million square meters.
