On December 17, 2012, Lu Village was listed in the first batch of Chinese traditional villages.
On February 19, 2014, Lu Village was selected as one of the sixth batch of Chinese Famous Historical and Cultural Villages.
On July 13, 2015, Lucun Village was selected as one of the third batch of national demonstration list of towns and villages with characteristic landscape tourism.
On October 21, 2016, the Ministry of Agriculture promoted Lucun Village as 2016 China's Beautiful Leisure Village.
Lucun Village is near Hongcun, Hongcun Ancient Architectural Complex, Hongcun-Qishu Lake Water Conservancy Scenic Area, Han Clan Ancestral Hall, XiuLi Film and Television Village Ancient Architectural Complex, Huangyue Painting Academy Ancient Architectural Complex, and other tourist spots, and specialties such as Yixian Layi Tofu, Yixian Cephalotaxus, Yixian Shitake Mushroom, Siji Cephalotaxus, and Siji Bitternut Tea.
