Two, introduction:
1. The Humble Administrator's Garden was first constructed in the early years of the Ming Zhende Dynasty (the early 16th century) In 1961, it was listed by the State Council as one of the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units, and was regarded as one of the four most famous gardens in China together with the Summer Palace in Beijing, the Summer Resort in Chengde, and the Garden of Reunion in Suzhou, which were announced at the same time.In 1991, it was listed as a national special excursion site by the State Planning Commission, the Tourism Bureau, and the Ministry of Construction, and was approved by UNESCO to be included in the World Heritage List in 1997.
The garden was approved by UNESCO to be included in the World Heritage List, and in 2007 it was recognized by the National Tourism Administration as one of the first batch of AAAAA-level tourist attractions.
Located in the northeastern corner of the ancient city of Suzhou (No. 178 Northeast Street), the 拙政园 is still the largest classical garden in existence in Suzhou as of 2014, occupying an area of 78 acres (about 5.2 hectares). The entire garden is centered on water, with lingering mountains and water, exquisite halls and pavilions, and flourishing flowers and trees, with strong characteristics of the Han water town in Jiangnan. The garden is divided into three parts: the east garden is open and sparse, the middle garden is the essence of the whole garden, and the west garden is beautifully constructed, each with its own characteristics. The south of the garden is a residential area, reflecting the typical pattern of the southern region of the Han Chinese residential multi-entry. There is also a Suzhou Garden Museum in the south of the garden, which is the only garden museum in China.
2. Summer Palace, Beijing's ancient royal gardens, formerly known as the Garden of Clear Ripples, is located in the western suburbs of Beijing, fifteen kilometers from the city, covering an area of about two hundred and ninety hectares, adjacent to the Yuanmingyuan. It is the Kunming Lake, Wanshoushan as the base, the West Lake in Hangzhou as a blueprint, drawing on the design of the Jiangnan garden and built a large landscape garden, but also the most complete preservation of a royal palace imperial court, known as the "Royal Museum of gardens", but also the national key attractions.
Before Emperor Qianlong succeeded to the throne of the Qing Dynasty, four large royal gardens were built in the western suburbs of Beijing. On March 4, 1961, the Summer Palace was announced as one of the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units, and at the same time announced the Chengde Summer Resort, the Humble Administrator's Garden, the Garden of Reunion and known as China's four great gardens, was included in November 1998 in the World Heritage List. 2007 May 8, the Summer Palace by the National Tourism Administration formally approved for the national 5A-level tourist attractions. In 2009, the Summer Palace was selected by the Chinese World Records Association China's largest existing royal gardens.
3. Chengde Summer Palace is an ancient Chinese imperial palace, the Qing Dynasty emperor summer vacation and deal with political affairs. Located in the north of the city of Chengde, Hebei Province. Liouyuan Garden is located in the ancient city of Suzhou in the south of the Yangtze River, Gate of Heaven, outside the Liouyuan Road 338, the garden is well known for its exquisite architectural layout, many strange stones, and Suzhou Humble Administrator's Garden, Beijing Summer Palace, Chengde Summer Resort and known as China's four famous gardens.
Liyuan is a large-scale classical private garden in China, covering an area of 23,300 square meters, representing the style of the Qing Dynasty, the garden is known for its exquisite architectural art, spacious and magnificent halls, courtyards are full of variations, Taihu Lake stones to crown the cloud peak as the most, with "not out of the city and the mountains and forests of interest". Its architectural space treatment is exquisite, gardeners use a variety of artistic techniques, constituting a rhythmic garden space system, becoming a world-renowned example of architectural space art treatment. Now the garden is divided into four parts, the eastern part is dominated by buildings, the central part is a landscape garden, the western part is a large rockery with earth and stone, and the northern part is a rural landscape.
In 1961, the Garden was announced by the State Council of the People's Republic of China as one of the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units. 1997, the classical gardens of Suzhou, including the Garden, were listed as a World Cultural Heritage Site, and in 2001, as an extension of the Suzhou gardens (the Humble Administrator's Garden, the Tiger's Hills, and the Liouyuan Garden) the Garden became a national 5A-level tourist attraction.
