On June 24th, 2007, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) officially approved the protection of geographical indication products for "Liu Qing bean curd skin" by Announcement No.200 in 2007, and the protection scope was within the administrative area under the jurisdiction of Qingliu County. This is the first product protected by national geographical indications in Qingliu County, and it is also the first national brand in Qingliu County, which has changed the history that there is no national brand in Liu Qing.

"Liu Qing bean curd skin" has a history of more than 800 years. It is famous for its golden color, fragrance, alcohol, sweetness, toughness and elasticity, and is rich in plant protein, unsaturated fatty acids and more than ten kinds of nutrients and trace elements suitable for human body. "Liu Qing bean curd skin" has become one of the leading industries in Liu Qing to increase farmers' income. Obtaining the protection of national geographical indication products is of great significance for further improving the popularity of this product, increasing the added value of the product, making the bean curd skin industry bigger and stronger, increasing farmers' income and promoting the construction of new countryside.
