Tea production process in Dan Cong

Dancong tea is a high-grade green tea, and its production process is very fine. The manufacturing process can be divided into the following steps:

1. Picking: Choose spring, autumn and other seasons suitable for tea production, and pick new buds and leaves in sunny and humid places.

2. Sun-drying: Put the picked tea leaves on a bamboo mat or gauze and dry them in a cool and ventilated place, so that they lose some moisture and turn yellow-green.

3. Deactivation: The sun-dried tea leaves are heated in a pot to promote the chemical changes inside the tea leaves and produce the unique aroma and taste of dancong tea. When fixing green tea, it is necessary to master the temperature and time to avoid excessive baking or insufficient heat.

4. Kneading: Kneading by hand or machine makes the tea even and flexible, which helps to release the tea juice and improve the quality of the tea.

5. Pressing: The rolled tea leaves are pressed into Dan Cong shape, which makes the tea leaves more compact and convenient for storage and transportation.

6. Drying: the pressed tea leaves are dried in a high-temperature oven to make the water in the tea leaves evenly distributed and appear golden yellow.

The above is the production process of dancong tea, and each step is very important, which needs to be strictly mastered, so as to make a dancong tea with delicate export feeling, elegant aroma, mellow taste and beautiful appearance.
