Wollongong University Undergraduate Dormitory
There are 9 student dormitories in Wollongong University, some of which are owned by the school and located near the campus, and the other part is under the unified management of the school. Among the nine dormitories, except for the Graduate House, Gongdi and Manor, which only accept graduate applications, the other five dormitories are not restricted in their application status.
Traditional all-inclusive dormitory: Verona College &; Logis De Broceliande
Weerona College and International House, two traditional all-inclusive dormitories, provide almost all meals for students every week (65,438+09 meals, no lunch on weekends). The staff cleans the rooms every two weeks, and someone is responsible for cleaning the public areas every day. The dorms in Weerona and International House are single rooms or shared by two people, and the rent is the same. Verona college
Verona College residential college was formally established in 1990. At present, there are 35 two-bedroom rooms, 134 single rooms, which can accommodate 204 people. Weerona has both undergraduate and graduate students, as well as Australian students, international students and exchange students. Nearly 60 international students live here every year.
Verona College has convenient transportation, and there is a bus stop within walking distance 100 meters, not far from the main campus, seaside and downtown of Wollongong University. Because it is close to Beaton Park Sports Center, there are many sports facilities, which are very suitable for students who like sports.
Student comment: The dormitory is not far from the school. There is a school shuttle bus to take. Many students choose to go to school by bike, and a few choose to go to school on foot.
Logis De Broceliande
The International House is the earliest dormitory of Wollongong University, which has a history of nearly 30 years. There are 220 beds here, including two bedrooms 15 and single rooms 190. Most of the people staying in the International House are undergraduates, and there are also a few graduate students. Many freshmen choose this place as their first choice for accommodation, because activities are often organized here to help freshmen integrate into different cultures, and the international home has convenient transportation. Located in the north of Wollongong, it is only a few minutes away from the North Wollongong Railway Station, and it takes 5 minutes to walk to the main campus of Wollongong University, Premier Beach and North Beach, which is very convenient for freshmen to familiarize themselves with the surrounding life and make daily purchases.

Large dormitory with mixed accommodation-East Campus
The East Campus is located in Fairy Meadow, with convenient transportation, only 5 minutes' walk from Fairy Meadow surfing beach, shopping center and food store, and 0/0 minutes' drive from the main campus of the school. Student comment: there is free bus to school in the east of campus. The dormitory is not bad as a whole, but the Internet is very expensive and the cost performance is low.
Self-help dormitories-Kooloobong, Marketview, Keiraview
Kooloobong
Kooloobong is located on the edge of the campus near Kaila Mountain. It is convenient to go to school, and you can enjoy the public resources of the school for free. Kooloobong will be expanded into Kooloobong Villag on 20 13, which can accommodate 553 tenants. The room type will also change from the current 5-bedroom to a single-room suite and a 4-bedroom dormitory group. Each suite has a kitchen, which is suitable for students who like to cook by themselves.
Kooloobong Dormitory is maintained and managed by university staff. The specific room type and accommodation expenses of the dormitory are as follows:
Existing room type: 5 bedrooms each 170 Australian dollars;
Room type put into use on 20 13: one-bedroom suite (studio) 247 Australian dollars per suite/week.

Student comments: kooloobong is quiet, close to the school, convenient for self-study, and can meet people from many different countries. There are more people from the Middle East in Kooloobong dormitory. The security near the accommodation area is not very good at night, so try to avoid going out or going home late at night. Marketview
The predecessor of Marketview Dormitory is Ibis Hotel in the CBD of Wollongong. After the hotel was acquired by Wollongong University, it was renovated and put into use as a new student dormitory in 20 12. Marketview Dormitory continues the style of Ibis Hotel, and each room is a suite with bathroom, which can accommodate 144 people. Because the dormitory is located in the city center, students living here have a convenient life. Food supermarkets in Asia and Europe are within 500 meters, and restaurants, shopping centers and beach leisure centers can all be reached within walking distance. In addition, the dormitory is managed by the school, and residents can also enjoy various resources and support provided by the school.
Marketview is about 10 minutes' drive from school, and there is a free bus stop near the dormitory, so you can go to school. The accommodation fee for each single room is 228 Australian dollars/week.
Student comments: MARKETVIEW has a good geographical location, close to the CITY MALL in Wollongong, and there is also a Chinese supermarket nearby, which is very convenient for shopping and purchasing daily necessities. Kellaway
Kellaway is not a dormitory for students, but also a place for motels and backpackers. It is a member of YHA (Youth Hostel Association). Kailawei can accommodate 46 student tenants. Its student dormitory is located in an independent area, completely separated from motels and backpackers, but its room structure is still a hotel-style suite, the kitchen is located in a public area, and several tenants share a room.
Kailaweiyou is located in the corner of the central business district of Wollongong, within walking distance of restaurants and business centers. It takes 40 minutes to walk from the dormitory to Wollongong University, and it takes about 15 minutes to drive. The transportation near the apartment is convenient, and there is a free bus to the school. The accommodation fee for each single room is 223 Australian dollars/week.
