How to use PS to make photos into China ink painting effect

1. First, import the photo into photoshop and copy it once.

2. Press and hold the shortcut key ctrl+l to open the color scale panel, and adjust the black-and-white field to make the color contrast more obvious (move the black-and-white sliders at both ends to the middle).

3. Copy the current layer and click Filter-Stylization-Find Edge. Press and hold ctrl+shift+u to remove the color of the edge. Then open the color scale panel to make the black-and-white contrast at the edge of the line more obvious (the same as the second step).

4. Adjust the layer blending mode to overlay, and adjust the opacity to 70~90% (self-adjustment).

5. Copy the processed background copy layer once, select Filter-Blur-Box Blur, and set an appropriate radius to make the photo feel blurred.

6. Select Filter-Filter Library-Splash Ink to simulate the effect of ink strokes. Change the blending mode of the current layer to overlay with an opacity of 70~90%.

7. Well, now look at the contrast effect before and after the picture, and the ink painting effect will come out.
