History of Zhejiang Institute of Commerce and Industry

The predecessor of Zhejiang Institute of Business and Technology was Ningbo Public A Commercial School founded in 1914.

In 1960, Jiande Metallurgical Industrial School (part of the resources) was transformed into Ningbo City Commercial School.

1965 Ningbo City Commercial School was renamed Ningbo City Commercial Vocational School.

1972 Ningbo City Commercial Vocational School was renamed Zhejiang Province Ningbo Commercial School.

In 1979, Zhejiang Ningbo commercial technical school was founded (joint).

1987 Zhejiang Ningbo commercial technical school independent school.

1987 Zhejiang Ningbo commercial school (cooking) merged into Zhejiang Ningbo commercial technical school.

In 1987 the Zhejiang Province Ningbo commercial school (traditional Chinese medicine) merged into the Zhejiang Province medicine school, now develops into the Zhejiang medicine higher specialized school.

In 1998, Ningbo commercial school of zhejiang province was upgraded to Ningbo industrial and commercial vocational and technical college.

In 2001, Ningbo industrial and commercial vocational and technical college was renamed Zhejiang industrial and commercial vocational and technical college.

Zhejiang Business and Technology Institute (ZhejiangBusinessTechnologyInstitute) is a public university directly under the Department of Education of Zhejiang Province, known as the "the cradle of Ningbo merchant culture".
