Three Foundry Bases in China

The three major foundry bases in China are:

1, Qingyang, Anhui. The foundry industry in Qingyang County, Anhui Province started in 1980s. At present, there are 40 cast iron, cast steel, cast aluminum and casting materials enterprises. In 2020, the county's casting output will be 280,000 tons, and the casting output will be 6,543,800 tons! The main products are ductile iron pipes, forklift parts, transmission housings, mechanical parts, motor housings, bridge parts, automobile parts, water pump parts, elevator parts, pipe valves, pipe clamps, electrical parts, valves, copper parts, spheroidizing agents and inoculants.

2. Ningguo, Anhui. Ningguo City is the national characteristic industrial base of automobile rubber and plastic seals, the production base of electronic components in China and the capital of wear-resistant castings in China. Among them, the output value of Anhui Fengxing Wear-resistant Materials Co., Ltd. exceeded 500 million yuan, reaching 720 million yuan. The rapid expansion and multiplication of wear-resistant enterprises, especially the acquisition of "the capital of wear-resistant castings", has effectively promoted the development of wear-resistant casting industry clusters.

3. Tongling, Anhui Province, which is famous for its copper and prospers because of copper, is known as "the ancient copper capital of China and the contemporary copper base". The history of copper mining and smelting began in Shang and Zhou Dynasties, flourished in Han and Tang Dynasties, and lasted for more than 3,500 years.
