Why are traditional festivals in China neglected?

Today, more and more young people are keen on western festivals. When western festivals come, they usually go to restaurants or shopping malls to have fun.

Why do young people like western festivals so much? Because they worship all new things, they can't resist the temptation. In their view, western festivals symbolize fashion, while our traditional festivals in China are out of date. No wonder we are always so bored during traditional festivals. If we still turn a blind eye to our traditional festivals, our culture and civilization will disappear one day. Therefore, it is time for us to pay attention to the festivals in China.

As China people, we have an obligation to protect our culture and customs. So I think we should celebrate our China Festival by doing some traditional activities. We don't have to get too excited about western festivals. In these festivals, we can send our best wishes to our best friends.
