There are many kinds of handicrafts in Baoding, including iron balls, clay figurines in Baigou, black pottery in Xiongxian, Quyang stone carvings, reed woven goods in Baiyangdian, porcelain and so on.

Xiongxian black pottery: Xiongxian black pottery is a traditional handicraft in Xiongxian, Baoding. It takes the local red clay in Xiongxian County as raw material, and after hand drawing, molding, drying, calendering, drawing lines and carving, it is finally made into black pottery products such as black, silver gray and purple.

Baiyangdian reed weaving: It is a traditional handicraft in China with a very long history. Baiyangdian is a relic of the ancient Yongnuze.
