Different modes of travel (English composition)

People travel by plane, train, ship and bus. For me, the best way to travel in summer vacation is to walk.

My preference depends on the purpose of the trip. During the summer vacation, I went on a trip to relax and see the countryside. When I walk on a path covered with green grass by the river or in the mountains, I feel far away from the noise of the city and closer to nature. When I was hiking, I gained more freedom. I can plan my own schedule. I can choose my own route. I can park where I like. If I travel by train or bus, I can see people and things that I might miss.

When a faster and more convenient way to travel becomes feasible, I still like to use my own feet. I got a lot of fun from it. People travel by plane, train, ship and bus. For me, the best way to travel in summer vacation is to walk.
