The construction project of Ordos Sports Center is an important livelihood project. With the stadium as the main body, three competition venues are built radially around it, from north to south: Ice and Snow Pavilion, Swimming Pool and Gymnasium.

Ordos Sports Center is located in the south bank of Abu Trench in the high-tech zone of Kangbashi New District. It includes five parts: stadium, gymnasium, swimming pool, ski resort and ice hockey hall. The design theme of the stadium is "Golden Saddle", and 46 golden peripheral inclined columns form a saddle-shaped roof curve. The design of the swimming pool boldly adopts the shape of inclined columns, forming a beautiful conch shape as a whole.

Ordos Sports Center has a total construction area of 259,000 square meters, including a stadium with a total construction area of 165438+3000 square meters and 60,000 seats. Designed according to the standards of large-scale first-class stadiums in China, it can hold national and international individual competitions, and has a 400-meter circular runway, a standard football field and various track and field venues. The gymnasium has a total construction area of 76,000 square meters, and the theme facilities are designed according to NBA standards. There are 65,438+02,000 stands in it, which are connected to the swimming pool along the arc. The swimming pool has a total construction area of about 48,000 square meters and 4,000 seats. There are standard diving pool, ten-lane standard competition pool and six-lane warm-up pool in the venue, which can undertake the training and competition tasks of international swimming, diving and synchronized swimming.

The main appearance is yurts and saddles, and the square design takes Hada as an element, symbolizing the hospitality of Ordos people. The exhibition center covers an area of 83,375 square meters with a total construction area of 47,480 square meters. It consists of a conference center and three exhibition halls, each with an area of 5300 square meters.
