Traditional pervious concrete pavement
(1) Impervious pavement hinders the infiltration of rainwater and the recharge of groundwater by rainwater. In addition, due to excessive pumping of groundwater, urban ground is prone to subsidence.
(2) The traditional dense pavement has high tire noise. When the vehicle is driving at high speed, when the tire rolls, air will be forced to enter between the tire and the road surface. When the tire rolls over, the air will expand rapidly and produce noise, especially in rainy days, which will affect the life and work of residents.
(3) The traditional urban pavement is waterproof, and rainwater is discharged through the pavement, so the drainage capacity is limited. In case of heavy rain or rainstorm, rainwater is easy to gather on the road surface, and a large number of rainwater is concentrated on motor vehicles and bicycle lanes, resulting in large-scale water accumulation on the road surface.
(4) Impervious pavement reduces the humidity of urban air and accelerates the formation of urban heat island effect.
(5) Impervious pavement is "dead ground", which will affect the ground ecosystem, make the water ecosystem unable to circulate normally, break the balance of urban ecosystem and affect the normal growth of vegetation.
