How to preserve braised beef
Frozen preservation: put the braised beef in a sealed plastic bag or container and store it in the freezer of the refrigerator. This method is suitable for long-term preservation. The freezing temperature (usually lower than-18℃) can significantly slow down the growth and reproduction of bacteria and microorganisms. By freezing braised beef, the activity of bacteria was inhibited, thus prolonging the shelf life of food, delaying the oxidative deterioration of fat and maintaining the taste and flavor of food.
Vacuum storage: braised beef is stored after vacuum packaging by vacuum packaging machine. This method can prolong the shelf life of braised beef, and vacuum packaging can remove oxygen from the packaging and reduce the contact between oxygen and food. Oxygen is one of the main factors leading to oxidative deterioration of food. By removing oxygen, the oxidation process of food can be slowed down and its shelf life can be prolonged.
Salting and storing, cutting braised beef into thin slices, and salting and storing. This method can prolong the shelf life of braised beef, and salt can inhibit the growth and reproduction of bacteria, thus delaying the spoilage process of food. However, it should be noted that the curing time should not be too long, otherwise it will affect the taste.
