Historical evolution of Shanxi traditional Chinese medicine factory
1956, Guangyu Yuan merged into "Yanlingtang" and "Guangyuan Hang", with Guilingji and Dingkundan as the leading manufacturers, becoming famous Chinese patent medicine manufacturers in the province.
During the Cultural Revolution, it was renamed as "Hongwei Pharmaceutical Factory".
1973 officially confirmed as a provincial enterprise-Shanxi traditional Chinese medicine factory.
Generally speaking, after the establishment of the new China Guangyuyuan Pharmaceutical Factory, the center of the enterprise turned to manufacturing, and its scale was expanding day by day. In the 1960s, the state requisitioned 92,673.53 square meters in the southwest of Taigu County, built 7,490.68 square meters of new factories, acquired new equipment and equipped with scientific and technical personnel, and carried out technical transformation on the production of Guilingji and Dingkundan.
In the early 1980s, electric furnace was introduced to upgrade Guilingji technology, and turtle and Kun were the main products, which greatly expanded the production scope of other Chinese patent medicines, with more than 100 products.
