What are the classic Chaozhou opera vocals?

The Story of Pipa was rewritten by Gao Zecheng (Gao Ming), a native of Zhejiang Province at the end of Yuan Dynasty, according to Zhao Zhen's daughter Cai Erlang. Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Pipa Story has been constantly revised in performances all over the country, and there are dozens of different prints. Among them, the original edition of Lu Yidian's notes proofreading (that is, the original edition), the new edition of the Pipa by Cai Boyi (hereinafter referred to as the Lu Notes Edition) and the Jiajing printed edition of Cai Boyi's New Towel Box are preserved or close to it.

It is a script of Southern Opera in Song, Yuan and Yuan Dynasties, which has been lost in historical books such as Yongle Dadian and Narration of Southern Ci. On the last page of the manuscript, there is the words "Xuande set up Shengsi Pear Garden on the morning of June 7th". Xuande is the title of Zhu Zhanji, Xuanzong of Ming Dynasty. Xuande seven years, namely 1432. The overall title of the final edition is "Records of Liu Sibi and Chai Jin".

Based on the Chao Opera "Chen San Wu Niang". In the early 1950s, in the upsurge of drama reform, the art exchange activities between local operas were unprecedentedly active. In order to arrange "Chen San Wu Niang", Shantou Zhengshun Chaozhou Opera Troupe specially sent people to Quanzhou, Fujian to study Liyuan Opera.

Guangdong Chaozhou Opera Troupe, founded in 1956, adapted and performed "Chen Sanwu Niang", which has great influence in Chaoshan area. 1957, Chao Opera Troupe went to Beijing for the first time, and its performance "Chen San Wu Niang" was well received by the literary and art circles in the capital and the audience.
