How to install mortise lock The installation method of mortise lock is introduced in detail.

If many things at home are broken or need to be replaced, you can install them yourself, such as light bulbs, switches, door locks and so on. The replacement process of these things is not complicated, and there are many skills introduced online, but in case of incomplete introduction, let's teach you the installation method of mortise lock.

1, single tongue mortise lock. This kind of lock has only one square bolt, which is mainly used in the gates of shops, cinemas, hotels and other entrances and exits of hotels and office buildings. According to the number of locks, it can be divided into single-ended locks and double-ended locks. The single-ended lock has only one marble lock head installed outside the lock body. One side of the lock head needs to be opened and locked with a key, and the other side turns the lock house by twisting the knob. Double-headed lock is to install a marble lock head on both indoor and outdoor sides of the lock body, and both sides need keys to open or lock.

2. Single latch button mortise lock. This kind of door lock has only one inclined lock room. This lock is equipped with a handle, one side is equipped with a lock core, and the indoor side locks the door by the knob on the handle. Under the condition of not locking, the lock can be opened by the handle indoors and outdoors, and its function is only to prevent wind. When locked, the handle is locked and cannot be moved. This kind of lock is often used on office doors or indoor doors at home.

3. Double tongue mortise lock. This kind of lock has two kinds of locking tongues, square tongue and oblique tongue. Now many security doors are equipped with this kind of lock. Usually according to the function of the handle, it can be divided into three types: single-acting mortise lock, double-acting mortise lock and quick-opening mortise lock. Single action means that the handle is fixed on the outdoor side, and the inclined tongue can be pressed down on the indoor side to open it; Double action means that the handles on both sides can be pressed down to open the oblique tongue; Quick opening means that both outdoor and indoor handles can be lifted and locked.

1. Stick the mounting paper gauge on the door panel, and punch holes in the door panel according to the handle angle you need to install and the keyhole position marked on the paper gauge. According to the angle at which you need to install the handle, remove the corner plate of the lock body, adjust it to the corresponding fixed angle (the handle is perpendicular to the door edge, 15 degrees, 30 degrees, 45 degrees), and then tighten the screws. If you need to install at any angle (handle is perpendicular to the door edge? Between 45 degrees), you can remove the corner plate without installation.

2. Remove the inner container of the lock body, take out the oblique tongue, put the lock body into the open door opening (note that the square tongue of the lock body must be at the top), fasten the lock body with screws, and put the oblique tongue into the lock body. If it is an inner door, the inclined plane of the oblique tongue must face the outside direction, that is, the direction of the front handle. Otherwise, turn the tongue to 180 degrees, reinstall the lock body, and then cover the inner container. Pull out the key of the front handle, insert the lock ruler into the pull-out hole of the lock body, align the positioning stud with the catheter hole of the lock body, and insert the rotating rod into the switch hole; Align the knob hole of the rear handle with the lock ruler, slightly tighten the screw, adjust the angle and opening tightness of the handle to the best position, and then tighten the screw. Fix the door leaf and door leaf frame in the corresponding position of the door frame with screws.

The knowledge about mortise lock installation is introduced here, hoping to help you install your mortise lock smoothly. But what needs to be added is that many people think that girls can't do manual labor like this? Actually, it's not. Think about it. Changing the door lock and changing the light bulb is not a big workload. Ordinary girls can still do it. I might as well give it a try.
