Goldfish is different from tropical fish. Why is it difficult to keep goldfish?

Goldfish is a cold-water fish, which is bred by long-term artificial breeding of wild yellow and red crucian carp. The most suitable water temperature generally does not exceed 30℃. Goldfish can be divided into grass (grass goldfish), culture (such as gold plating and high head), dragon (such as longan) and egg (such as blister and phoenix). In other words, goldfish is a different variation of crucian carp, but it is still crucian carp. Different species of goldfish have high body similarity, and different species of goldfish with similar nutritional conditions and the same age have similar body shapes. Goldfish don't need heating rods in winter. When the water temperature is lower than 10℃, the goldfish's appetite decreases, but it can normally overwinter in the temperate zone.

Ornamental tropical fish is the general name of dozens of different kinds of ornamental fish living in tropical areas. Taxonomically, tropical fish belong to different families, such as Cynodontidae (such as guppies), Percidae (such as thick-lipped bass), Monopteridae (such as Monopterus albus) and so on. Tropical fish vary greatly in size due to different species, such as single-sided fish and arowana. The life history of tropical fish varies greatly, from two to three years short to decades long. The water temperature required for the good growth of tropical fish is relatively high, generally above 22℃, and even close to 35℃ at the highest. However, tropical fish raised in temperate zone need to be heated to maintain the water temperature in winter, otherwise the water temperature will die if it is lower than 10- 15℃.

As for the problem that goldfish are difficult to raise, it is not absolute. Everyone who knows how to raise goldfish thinks it is easier to raise goldfish and needs less equipment. The simplest one is just a fish tank. It is very troublesome to raise tropical fish in winter. Domestic tropical fish should be equipped with heating rods, or they will die in winter. However, precious goldfish species are indeed more expensive, which is related to long-term isolated breeding.
