What are some of the achievements of the Chinese medical saint Hua Tuo that deserve our praise?

Hua Tuo grew up in a poor family, his father died early, and he had to live with his mother, who taught him knowledge, but he was interested in medicine from a young age, and then his mother's illness and death made him strive to become a doctor who practiced medicine to save the world. Hua Tuo practiced medicine all over the world and had many achievements in medicine. He was proficient in internal medicine, external medicine, gynecology, pediatrics, acupuncture and moxibustion, and was especially good at surgery. He invented Ma Fu San (麻佛散), and successfully performed abdominal surgeries on patients under general anesthesia. According to historical records, Hua Tuo had successfully removed tumors and performed gastrointestinal sutures using Ma Fu San.

Anesthetic drugs had been used before him, but they were used in astray ways, and Hua Tuo later built on the foundation and created Ma Fu San. Hua Tuo used anesthetics for surgery more than sixteen hundred years before the West, and became the first person in the world to use anesthesia for laparoscopic surgery.
