The development course of tailor

When the earth experienced the last serious ice age-Dali Ice Age, it ushered in the warm climate environment of the late Holocene Ice Age. The ancestors of China inherited the long-standing experience accumulated in the Paleolithic Age, and started agriculture and animal husbandry, turning the passive search for food from nature into active production and reproduction resources. They built houses and changed the way of life in caves. Men went out hunting, made stone tools and cut jade. Women are engaged in collecting, making pottery, inventing spinning hemp, raising silkworms, reeling silk, spinning wool, hemp, silk and sewing clothes. It changed the original naked life and advanced into a civilized life of wearing clothes and jewelry. More than 7,000 stone spinning wheels have been unearthed in large Neolithic sites in China, such as stone spinning wheels and pottery spinning wheels found in the late stratum of Yangshao cultural site in Xiwang Village, Ruicheng County, Shanxi Province, and a large number of pottery spinning wheels with shapes of 10 in Shijiahe, Tianmen, Hubei Province, most of which are painted with patterns. Tools for weaving, such as bone shuttle, wooden knife and cloth winding shaft, have been found in Hemudu cultural site and Longshan cultural site.

Tailoring is an ancient profession with a history of thousands of years. Although today's clothing and home textile industry has developed into a highly mechanized industry, the design and production of clothing and bedding are still inseparable from tailors, and tailors who design and produce high-end brands and provide customized services for special groups such as national leaders are highly respected.

There is a group of high-spending people in Beijing, who often ask private tailors to customize clothes. Such high-consumption groups include white-collar workers and celebrities. Their customized clothes include dresses for special occasions, performance dresses, wedding dresses, and life jackets that are very particular about fabrics, styles and tailoring.

It is said that if the custom-made clothing includes special crafts such as embroidery, it will cost 6000-8000 yuan; General clothing customization needs 2000-4000 yuan. Generally speaking, private tailors don't need to prepare fabrics, and the production fee is all they earn. A month, as long as private tailors receive more than five big customers, their income is as high as 10 thousand yuan.
