Huawei founder is Ren Zhengfei

Ren Zhengfei, originally from Pujiang County, Zhejiang Province, was born on October 25, 1944 in Zhenning County, Anshun City, Guizhou Province. He is the main founder and president of Huawei Technologies Co.

In 1963, he studied at Chongqing Architecture and Engineering College (now incorporated into Chongqing University), and after graduation, he was employed in a construction engineering unit. 1974, in order to build the Liaoyang Chemical Fiber Plant introduced from France, he was recruited to join the Infrastructure Engineering Corps, which was responsible for the construction of this project, and he has served as a technician, engineer, and deputy director (at the technical deputy regiment level), with no military rank.
