What are the printing methods?
Traditional offset printing methods mainly rely on ink balance to complete the printing process. According to the analysis of ink transfer process, emulsification of ink is inevitable. However, after excessive emulsification of ink, the color of printed matter will fade and become obsolete, which will lead to the decline of color vividness. ?
When offset printing, various additives, such as thinner and drier, should be added as needed. When these additives are added too much, sometimes the color brightness of printed matter will be affected. Diluents include Bai Mo and white oil. White oil is mainly an emulsion composed of magnesium carbonate, stearic acid, blended oil and water. This emulsion will promote the emulsification of ink, resulting in dull color. Desiccant is mainly metal soap and strong emulsifier. A small amount of drier can stabilize the emulsification of ink, but too much will cause serious emulsification of ink. In addition, for printed matter with small graphic area, the amount of new ink added to the ink transfer roller in each cycle is also less, so the ink stuck to the ink transfer roller for a long time will be mixed, squeezed and crushed by the fountain solution for many times, resulting in serious ink emulsification and dim color.
