Advantages and disadvantages of online learning of English writing

With the development of Internet, online learning is becoming more and more popular because of its convenience and resource. In the classroom, teachers don't have to face many students standing on the podium. Students just receive knowledge by using the Internet, and everyone is addicted to it. But how do we know what they are doing behind the computer screen? Maybe someone is eating, playing games or sleeping.

As far as I'm concerned, I always feel very bored or even sleepy in front of the teachers on the computer screen, because when I have any problems, I can't solve them immediately through this indirect communication, and the teachers can't read the changes of our facial expressions, so they never know whether we really understand. In contrast, traditional learning is as effective as online learning. I have to say that I have no self-control, so I need a teacher to supervise me.

Online learning can help us get learning materials at any time without going out, and we can also study at work. At the same time, people who surf the Internet at home are more likely to lose opportunities to get to know each other, such as lack of interpersonal communication. The network has widened the distance between people and set obstacles for direct emotional communication. Lack of emotional communication between teachers and students may greatly reduce the learning effect.

Some people may say that the Internet helps students develop their computer skills. But when we want to deal with some simple math problems, we will not consciously look for computer assistance, so our brains are getting slower and slower. However, there will be no troubles brought by traditional learning. When we are busy solving some arithmetic problems, we will improve ourselves and make ourselves full of vitality.

Online learning can't provide a real communication environment. In addition, if we can't distinguish the quality of learning materials, a large amount of information on the Internet will sometimes confuse learners. Traditional learning can use written materials to help us practice repeatedly.

Although technical tools and the Internet have become more and more stable, there are still examples of technical failures. The server may be shut down, or we may encounter a loss of Internet connection. Therefore, if we can't back up important classroom information when the computer crashes, we may lose important information, but if we take notes in books, we may gain wealth in our hands.

I always think I am an old-fashioned girl, so I think traditional education is better than online learning.
