Production process

The stop-motion animator must painstakingly move the actual objects (characters, props, sets, etc.) on the table frame by frame (24 frames per second for movies), during which the character's arm must be moved at the same time as the head or other parts of the character, and even down to the fingers, so all of the character's body parts must be made removable to facilitate the change of expression and action.

When shooting, first of all, all the things in the scene should be fixed, the lighting should be set up according to the plot at that time, and the shooting stage should be equipped with a professional green screen, so that it is convenient for keying, retouching, and synthesizing in the later stages of production.

Every frame is captured with a movie camera, and after the thousands of frames are cut and projected in sequence, the characters and scenes come to life.
