How are the customs and habits of China different from those of other countries?

People in China pay more attention to traditional things, and we have been under Confucianism, so our thoughts are continuous. We in China like to seek our roots and ancestors, and pay more attention to ethical relations. China is a country of etiquette, and has attached great importance to the relationship between seniority since ancient times. However, due to some historical reasons, foreign countries are quite different from China in these aspects. For example, Americans often call each other by their first names between elders and younger generations, and between students and teachers to show friendship. If it is in our country, it will be considered uneducated, which is one of the big differences.

China people are reserved, and most of the time they don't want to show themselves too much. When others praise themselves, they always say "where, where" to show modesty. Most foreigners are more direct, and they usually thank others for their compliments.

Also, in some public places, we usually use the etiquette of shaking hands, while in many foreign countries, we use hugs, which is also one of the big differences.

China people sometimes speak vaguely. The common saying is: "I don't know, it's hard to say, let's have a look first." We are not used to expressing our opinions directly, and often give the opportunity to others first, so the possibility of making mistakes is relatively small. Some foreigners, on the other hand, like to show themselves very much, and they think they should show themselves if they have the ability. This is also the difference between China and foreign countries.

Besides, our attitude towards our guests is different from that of foreigners. China treats one person, while foreign countries treat AA.

We in China like tea, while foreigners like coffee. People in China eat with chopsticks, while foreigners use knives and forks. People in China often like to pour wine for others, while foreigners can pour as much as they like.
