Wa people's tradition of praying for rain
Praying for rain is an activity handed down from ancient times by local Wa villagers. Whenever there is a drought, the villagers come here to worship in the first year of the pig in May of that year (lunar calendar). The rain praying tower is located on a cement platform with a length of 9 meters and a width of 9 meters, and there are four water columns with a height of 1 meter at four corners. The tower foundation and tower body are all made of blue bricks, and the tower is 8.8 meters high. The rain prayer ceremony held by local villagers has remained unchanged for many years.
