What was not emphasized by the Roman moral ideals

The Roman moral ideals emphasized duty, discipline, and honor, not individualism or hedonism. Roman culture emphasized collective and social order and promoted loyalty and devotion of citizens to the state and society. At the same time, Roman laws and moral codes emphasized respect for authority, the preservation of traditions and the maintenance of dignity.
