In the same period, global trade uncertainty increased, the Russian-Ukrainian conflict led to a significant increase in energy expenditure in Europe, inflation and interest rate hike policies in Europe and the United States curbed the demand for bulk consumer goods, and the export of major household appliances in our province faced obvious pressure. In May, Shandong Province exported 920 million yuan of TV sets, down by 0.7%. The export of refrigerators was 670 million yuan, down by 1 1%, accounting for 47.6% of the export of household appliances in Shandong Province in the same period, down by 8.6 percentage points.

Second, the market demand for seasonal varieties is strong, and the export performance of small household appliances is strong.

In May, the export of household appliances in Shandong Province showed obvious seasonal characteristics. In May, Shandong exported 450 million yuan of household appliances to Japan, an increase of 9.3%. The export to South Korea was 98.475 million yuan, although both year-on-year and quarter-on-quarter decreased, but it still hit the second highest point in the year.
