What is a pure electric vehicle?
A pure electric vehicle is a vehicle that is powered by on-board power and driven by an electric motor, and meets the requirements of road traffic and safety regulations. Due to the relatively low environmental impact of traditional cars, its future is widely recognized, but the current technology is still immature.
Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) is a vehicle powered entirely by rechargeable batteries (such as lead-acid, nickel-cadmium, nickel-metal hydride or lithium-ion batteries). Although it has a long history of 186 years, it has been limited to certain specific ranges of applications and has a small market. The main reason for this is due to the various categories of batteries, which generally have serious drawbacks such as high price, short life, large form factor and weight, and long charging time.
