1, Spring Festival

Time: the first day of the first lunar month

2. Lantern Festival

4. Dragon Boat Festival

Time: the fifth day of the fifth lunar month

Introduction: In central Anhui, southern Anhui, western Anhui and other places, one or two days before the Dragon Boat Festival, monks and nuns in temples often send symbols of the Dragon Boat Festival to nearby families. Symbols are carved on yellow paper, showing the image of an old man holding a sword, as well as "Jiang Shang is here to ward off evil spirits at noon on May 5th" or "Taigong is here to ward off evil spirits" and "Xiong Fei Town House". On the Dragon Boat Festival, every household sticks this symbol on the walls of kitchens and other rooms, and the image of Zhong Kui or centipede will be hung in Xishan area. "In Huaibei area, during the Dragon Boat Festival, the mother synthesized colored ropes with various silk threads and tied them around the children's wrists, ankles and necks. After 1950s, many old customs of Mid-Autumn Festival in urban and rural areas were gradually abandoned or faded, and some habits such as eating moon cakes and improving holiday meals were retained. 6. International Poetry Festival
