How to peel off a subtree

1. There are two traditional peeling and decontamination methods, namely fresh peeling and soaking.

2. Fresh peeling method is to wash the roots with water, leave them in the open air for 2-3 days, let the moisture in the roots evaporate, then pry them from the fracture with a knife and peel off the bark. This method will damage the roots and destroy the texture if you are not careful.

3. Soaking method is suitable for dry root materials that have been placed for a long time. The method is to soak the root material in water for several days until it can be peeled off. Both methods are time-consuming and laborious. At present, the popular method is to remove bark with a high-pressure cleaning machine.

Modern machines can be used for operation, and high-pressure cleaning machines are commonly used. Because the tissue structure and hardness of bark and stem are different, using high-pressure cleaning machine produces strong impact of high-pressure water, which makes the bark fall off quickly, but this strong impact of high-pressure water can not damage the stem and achieve good bark removal effect.
