Classification and application of pigment essence

Solvent-based colorant is a kind of dye that can be dissolved in organic solvents such as aromatic hydrocarbons, esters, styrene and methyl methylpropionate. Almost insoluble in water.

The main application scope includes:

1. Wood coatings and various metallic transparent coatings

2. Coloring of aluminum foil, vacuum coating and bronzing materials.

3. Solvent ink

4. Coloring of all kinds of natural and synthetic leather

5. Ballpoint pens and various stationery inks

6. Shoe polish dyeing

6. Other applications: transparent decorative paint, plastic surface painting and other industries. Water-oil amphoteric colorant refers to a liquid metal complex dye that can be dissolved in both oily organic solvents and water.

The main application scope includes:

1. Coloring of waterborne wood coatings, including bottom coloring and top coloring.

2. Environmental protection foil film, gold and silver cardboard and food packaging.

3. Waterborne ink, especially suitable for cigarette packs.

4. Coloring of all kinds of natural and synthetic leather

5. Whiteboard pen, ink and marker pen, printer ink

6. Shoe polish dyeing

7. Other applications: waterborne transparent decorative paint, waterborne coloring and plastic surface coating. Pure water-based colorant refers to a kind of advanced metal complex dye that can only be dissolved in water or some specific alcohol solvents or ether solvents.

This product is mainly used for:

1. Automotive coatings: In oily and aqueous systems, aluminum pigment and pearl powder combine to produce golden yellow effect, and various transparent coatings can be mixed with metal complex dyes or transparent pigments. After the coating is made of non-floating aluminum powder, the coating will have different colors from different angles, resulting in a wonderful phenomenon of discoloration at different angles. This phenomenon has been fully applied in metallic flash automobile paint. It can also produce pearlescent coloring effect with interference color pigments (such as mica titanium), which enriches the varieties of automobile paints.

2. Wood coating: used for wood coloring. Soft colors do not change color, which can prevent ultraviolet rays from damaging wood.

3. Industrial coating: used for metal surface treatment. It has a golden or copper color effect, which is very suitable for the inner and outer coatings of packaging cans. When used in waterborne glass paint, it is resistant to alcohol 150 hours, water 12 hours and water 180 days without any change. When used in architectural coatings, it will have a solemn and elegant decorative effect. Fluorocarbon coatings are rapidly developed in exterior wall painting because of their high weatherability, and metallic flash paint made of fluorocarbon coatings has excellent decorative effect. Fluorocarbon metallic flash paint is a potential application field.

4. Ink: Bright and transparent colors are suitable for printing aluminum foil.

5. art paint: It is an essential material for water-based ink for whiteboard pens and gel pens, which can preserve artistic color for a long time.

6, plastic packaging: this product itself is non-toxic, made of PET or PP plastic, beverage cans and medicine bottles. It can be used for internal and external painting of cosmetics and food packaging containers, and can also be used for painting children's toys. Plastic coatings, represented by metallic flash coatings, are developing rapidly, and the future of plastic coatings is also very optimistic.

7. Cosmetics: non-toxic, high ultraviolet absorption, suitable for the cosmetics industry.

8. Powder coating: it will not change color at the temperature of 220℃-300℃ for 5-20 minutes.
