What is materialism? What is idealism? Can we both believe in materialism and idealism?

Materialism and idealism are the basic viewpoints of materialism and the two basic schools of philosophy. They think that matter is the original matter of the world, primary consciousness and secondary consciousness determine consciousness, and idealism thinks that consciousness is the source of the world. Materialism and idealism are two fundamentally opposite world views, and it is impossible to believe in materialism and idealism at the same time. If we insist on this dualism, then it is not complete materialism.
