Handmade works of traditional Spring Festival festivals

Traditional handmade works during the Spring Festival can be made into lanterns, couplets, New Year greeting cards, handmade window grilles and so on.

The process of making lanterns: fold the red paper in half horizontally, and cut it with scissors at equal distance, leaving a distance from the edge of the paper. Roll a piece of yellow paper into a cylinder, fix the cylinder with a stapler, and stick red paper and yellow cardboard together as shown in the figure, and the lantern will be finished.

New Year greeting card making process: prepare red and white cardboard, fold the red cardboard in half, cut out lace for the white cardboard, stick the white cardboard on one side of the red cardboard, and fold the other side repeatedly, with a width of about 1 cm, fix it with double-sided tape and yellow paper strips, and add some decorations appropriately. The New Year cards are ready.

Hand-made window grilles: prepare a piece of red cardboard, fold the cardboard in half along the middle, draw a pattern on one side of the cardboard with a pencil, take the folded edge as the central axis of the pattern, cut and spread the pattern to make window grilles.
