Personally, I think the rise of a new round of metropolis daily is a sign of the relative industrialization of China newspapers. The so-called relative industrialization refers to the limited industrialization with China characteristics, which is characterized by local and partial industrialization, and it is an industrialized operation that excludes private capital, foreign capital and social capital. It stands to reason that literally, the suffix "Hua" should have a complete meaning. However, in China, the three suffixes "Hua", "Xing" and "Xue" are frequently used, which affects our academic terms.

At the same time, the upsurge of metropolis newspapers and business newspapers has also brought a by-product, that is, tabloidization, that is, tabloidization. The outstanding feature is that newspapers have become a tool to make money, and hype news has become a common means. The tabloidization mentioned here does not refer to the size of the newspaper layout, but to the stars, scandals and hype of the newspaper content.

As far as the United States is concerned, monopoly has caused the phenomenon of one city and one newspaper. In China, the competition for more newspapers in one city has just begun. In Chengdu, Evening News, Metropolis Daily and Rising Star Business Daily have formed a tripartite confrontation, and Zhengzhou and Xi 'an have similar situations. The Nanjing newspaper war has attracted people's attention, and even the local government needs to come forward to calm down the newspaper price reduction. Although the industry unified price was set, it was still broken. The appearance of metropolis daily has disrupted the original pattern of newspaper industry. Soft news is no longer the patent of evening newspaper, and the difference between evening newspaper and daily newspaper is getting smaller and smaller. Newspapers are further urbanized, and the vast rural areas have become the world of radio and television.
