Second step
Make a buttonhole for the bird's head knot. The size of the buttonhole is determined by the diameter of the button.
Third step
The two light-colored cores in the middle cross into two oblique knots.
Fourth step

Unless otherwise specified, diagonal knots are usually in groups of two.
