Introduction of Da Cai Gao
Da Cai Gao (大菜糕), known as Cai Yan (菜燕), Shi Hua Jie (石花冻) or Yang Cai Jie (洋菜冻), in Taiwan, is a dessert made of boiled and cooled Shi Hua Cai (石花菜), a Han Chinese specialty in a gelatinous block shape similar to jelly. Dai Cai Gao is a dessert, known as Cai Yan or Jelly of Vegetables in Taiwan, which is made by boiling cauliflower and then cooling it down. It has become one of Macau's most famous snacks in recent years, with Taipa's Mok Iek Kee being the most famous. As the store is located in a tourist hotspot, many tourists will have the dessert after dinner. The most famous dessert of the store is the mango dai chai gao, which is the best dessert to cool down the summer heat.
