Wireless network card base station mode and access point mode

The general network card supports three modes of operation:

1. Base station mode, used to connect to the wireless router, is the most commonly used mode, its rate is related to the wireless router, can reach 54/150/300Mbps, etc.;

2. Access point mode: used to connect to the other wireless network card, can be used as an access point. The rate is related to the rate supported by the connected NICs, and is generally taken as its minimum rate.

3. Mixed Mode: This mode can be used to connect to a wireless router and other wireless cards, and the default mode is this mode to adapt to the needs of different wireless network environments.

You don't have a very good card, no hybrid mode. The built-in wireless card on my laptop has 3 modes to choose from.

I hope it works for you.
