Walking marriage is a unique way of marriage for Mosuo minority in southwest China. It means that men and women don't marry, and the combination of men and women is realized by visiting from dusk to dawn. The historical origin of walking marriage

Walking marriage custom is a common marriage custom in human history. In the Central Plains, it withdrew from the historical stage as early as the Qin and Han Dynasties, but there were many reservations among ethnic minorities, especially the Naxi society around Lugu Lake in the Republic of China.
