What's the difference between Tang suit and shroud?

I think Tang suit and shroud are two different kinds of clothes, and there are certain differences in wearing occasions, styles and meanings. Tang costumes are usually worn on festive occasions such as the Spring Festival and weddings. Shrouds are usually worn after old people die. There are also some differences between Tang suit and shroud in the identity and cultural background of the wearer.
