It's almost time for our calendar to turn to next year. These days, people are frantically trying to solve the remaining problems and prepare for the future. This is also the time for many people to look back and see what they have accomplished. As the editor of the Web development zone on developerWorks, I spent a little time reviewing all the contents we shared with you this year. Some of them are designed so that you can write code immediately. Some of them are designed to make you think about the big picture and how the ever-changing development environment will shape the future of your application.

We are so busy finishing our work that we have no time to see everything we should see. I'm here to be your "ghost of developerWorks in the past" and point out some of our projects this year.
