What is the role of agar powder in sugar painting

Scientific name agar, English name agar, also known as agar, jelly powder, swallow vegetable essence, agar, cold days. How to use:

Soak the agar powder in cold water for about 3-5 hours, then put it into a pot and add appropriate amount of water to boil until all dissolved.
