How is paper made?

The manufacturing process of paper can be roughly divided into four steps: separation of raw materials, pulping, papermaking, drying, pulping and preparation.

Separation of raw materials: degumming raw materials in alkaline solution by retting or cooking and dispersing them into fibers.

Beating: cut off the fiber by cutting and ramming, and brush the fiber into pulp.

Paper-making: the pulp is made into slurry through water seepage, and then the pulp is fished out with a fishing machine (pad) to make the pulp interweave into thin wet paper on the fishing machine.

Drying: Dry wet paper in the sun or dry it, and take it off to become paper.

Pulping process: There are three ways to convert wood into pulp: mechanical pulping, chemical pulping and semi-chemical pulping.

Modulation technology: the modulation of paper is another key point in papermaking, and the strength, color tone, printability and shelf life of paper are directly related to it.
