Each set of Muqam consists of five paragraphs with different rhythms, and the connection between the paragraphs is harmonious and natural, and gradually transitions from slow to fast to climax. Sometimes there are two or three groups, plus drums with richer timbre, which highlight the sound effect of "Dong". The rhythm of drums determines the speed of dance and the harmony of movements. Experienced drummers make the drums varied and stimulate the emotions of dancers and audiences. The tunes played by suona are more flexible and not limited by drums. Sama dance is an ancient and cheerful folk dance of Xinjiang Uygur working people in the Spring Festival, with simple and powerful movements. It is mainly popular in Kashgar and shache in southern Xinjiang. In addition to New Year's festivals, Sama sometimes dances in general celebration occasions. In the early morning of the festival, after people went to the mosque to worship, musicians on the roof of the mosque began to beat Najera drums and play suona. With the drums, everyone danced Sama dance, and Sama tune was cheerful and powerful. The movement of Sama dance is closely coordinated with the rhythm of the drum. When "Dong" happens, the whole foot touches the ground and the body is slightly pressed down. When you step up, your hands swing gently with the height of your body, and you often use skills such as jumping, wiping the floor and idling. Sama dancers are mostly male.
