Origin of Yuxi Rice Thread Festival

The Yuxi Rice Thread Festival is a traditional festival and an important folk cultural activity in Yuxi City, Yunnan Province. Every year, from the second to the eighth day of the second month of the lunar calendar, various places and ethnic groups in Yuxi City hold various forms of celebrations to add more colors to this festival.
